Dr. Vargo is very active in community projects including the Boys and Girls Club and is a major sponsor of Ridge Ferry Park's newest playground. He also hosts field trips to his office in an effort to educate children of the importance of proper dental care. Dr. Vargo recognizes the importance of providing a well-rounded education for our children by financially supporting reading programs at local elementary and pre-schools by providing developmental books to all second-graders in the city and county schools.
Away from his office, Dr. Vargo spends time with his son, Denton (2/3/2000), and his daughter, Sophia (11/16/2001). Dr. Vargo and his children stay involved with their church and community organizations. He also enjoys skiing, biking and playing tennis. Though Dr. Vargo has completed many years of schooling and frequently attends courses for continuing education, he feels his best training for working with children is being a dad.
"My greatest accomplishment and pride thus far is being the father of my two beautiful children. I love to spend every free moment with them. They have taught me so much, including humility, patience and how to listen. The experience has translated directly into effective communication and understanding the needs of children in my practice."
